Gregory McNamee is an associate in the Industrial and Consumer Product Liability Practice Group in the Philadelphia office of Lavin, O’Neil, Ricci, Cedrone & DiSipio. Mr. McNamee concentrates his practice on pharmaceutical litigation, with an emphasis on mass tort litigation. He also handles professional liability, premises liability and automotive cases for a range of corporate clients.
Mr. McNamee assists a team of attorneys in the day-to-day management of a mass tort litigation involving a global pharmaceutical company. He coordinates the filing of all pleadings and motions and the service of discovery in several hundred cases.
Mr. McNamee also works on the following types of cases:
· Professional and premises liability for national clinical laboratory
· Premises liability for national dialysis services company
· Product liability for national automobile manufacturers
Mr. McNamee received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Ma and earned his Juris Doctor from the Boston College Law School. Prior to joining the Lavin firm, he served as clerk to the Honorable Denis Cohen of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. McNamee serves on the executive board of the Philadelphia chapter of the Boston College Law School Alumni Association and the Law School Outreach Committee of the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Personal
Prior to entering law school, Mr. McNamee lived and taught for a year on the Colville Indian Reservation in Washington as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Mr. McNamee recently became a founding member of the Board of Directors of Clementine Montessori, a new pre-school in Center City.
